Dr. Kaplan is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology (AAAAI), American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology (ACAAI), The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), The Long Island Allergy & Asthma Society (LIAAS), and the New York Allergy & Asthma Society (NYAAS).

Dr. Kaplan has received the Physician Recognition Award that is granted by the American Medical Association for the Advanced Continued Medical Education and Knowledge of state of the art medical approaches in the field of allergy, asthma, and immunology for 30 consecutive years.
